Notify employees after manager changes employee-approved time
A generic notification called Employee Approval Removed Notification is available by default. To view or edit this notification:
- From the Main Menu, go to Administration > Application Setup > System Configuration and open Workflow Notifications Informs people to run business processes or integrations, complete forms, or respond to events in business processes. Example: Approve a time-off request..
- Review or edit the following:
- Name: Employee Approval Removed Notification
- Description: Employee Approval Removed Notification
- Priority: Medium
- Subject: Timecard approval removed
- Long Message: Your timecard approval for <Date> was removed because it was edited by <Timecard Edited By>
- Field 1 Label: Date
- Field 1 Value:<Date>
- Field 2 Label: Timecard Edited By
- Field 2 Value: <Timecard Edited By>
- Recipients: Select Recipient List will be supplied at runtime and Send to employee
- Suppress Duplicate Alerts: Select Do not suppress duplicates
- Click Save.
- From the Main Menu, go to Administration > Application Setup > Control Center Setup and open Timekeeping Alert Profile.
- On the Timekeeping Alert Profile page, select a profile and click Edit
. - In the Timekeeping Alert Profile Configuration area, click Create
. - In the Create Timekeeping Alert Profile Configuration pop-up, select Timecard edited by manager after employee approval as the alert type and Employee Approval Removed Notification as the notification.
- Click Save.
- Back on the Setup page, go to Display Preferences > Display Profile. Open an applicable Display Profile and add the Timekeeping Alert Profile.
Now employees with this updated Display Profile receive a notification when a manager edits their timecard after employee approval. If a attestation workflow is associated with the employee's approval process, the attestation workflow starts so the employee can attest that the time is correct.
