Attestation Workflows
The Attestation The act of confirming or attesting that something is true. For example, when punching out, users may need to attest that they took their meal breaks. Workflow page lists each workflow and model IDs, start and end dates, status, deployed date, and so forth. The page is essentially a Business Process An organized flow of activities or tasks that achieves a business goal. An automated business process minimizes the amount of paperwork and manual tasks to complete that process by way of automatic actions, online forms, and automatically generated messages. page with the category set to Attestation; you cannot change the category from this page. From the Attestation Workflow page, you can access the available attestation workflows and configure, edit, or delete these workflows.
Note: If you access the Business Process page from Administration > Application Setup > Business Process Setup > Business Processes, the same page opens with all categories selectable.
You can create your own workflows or modify the preconfigured workflows, called forms or models.
To access Attestation workflows , navigate to Administration > Application Setup > Attestation > Attestation Workflows from the Main Menu.
Configuring a workflow enables you to select or create a Attestation model, then deploy it.
- Click Configure.The Attestation Models page opens.
- On the Attestation Models page, you can define a new model or edit an existing workflow.
- Click New
- In the Create Attestation Model page in UKG Pro Workforce Management, enter a model name and description.
- Click Save. The model is now listed in the Attestation Models grid.
- To create a workflow, select the model and click Edit
- Select a model and click Edit
- Edit a workflow as described in .
- Click Save.
- When finished, click Deploy. The Business Process page then opens.
- On the Business Process page, enter or change the following information:
- Description — Enter a description of the workflow.
- Display Name — Enter a name that will appear on the Attestation Workflow page.
- Used In — Not applicable for Attestation.
- Template Categories — Select Attestation (the default).
- Note: The Attestation template category is not supported for use with Action List, Tile A container that provides navigation or action from its summary view. List, or GoTo List settings, which can be optionally specified when deploying a business model. See Deploy Business Process Models for more information.
- Start Effective — Enter the date that the workflow will take effect. Click the calendar
- End Effective — Select Forever if the workflow has no ending date or click the calendar
- Status — Select Active or Inactive.
- Action List — Select Hide. If you select Show, the workflow will appear in Control Center, which is not necessary.
- Click Save.
You create a model in UKG Pro Workforce Management. You then edit the model to specify and configure it. You edit models in the Workflow Designer.
Editing a model opens the Workflow Designer used by the Business Process component.
Note: To cancel your edits and remain on the Business Process page, click Refresh. To cancel your edits and return to the Attestation Workflow page, click Return.
Editing a workflow enables you to change the Business Process attributes.
- Select a workflow and Click Edit to open the Business Process page.
- On the Business Process page, change the following information as needed:
- Description — Change a description of the workflow.
- Display Name — Change a name that will appear on the Attestation Workflow page
- Used In — Not applicable for attestation.
- Template Categories — Select Attestation.
- Start Effective — Change the date that the workflow will take effect. Click the calendar
- End Effective — Enter Forever if the workflow has no ending date or click the calendar
- Status — Select Active or Inactive.
- Action List — Select Hide. If you select Show, the workflow will appear in Control Center, which is not necessary.
- Click Save.
- Select a workflow and click Delete.
- Click Yes in the confirmation message.
Note: You cannot delete a workflow that is currently being used in an assignment.
