Create a Dataview

Administrators create Dataviews and set their default values, including items such as time period, subject category, and column selection. They also define the set of columns that display by default when the Dataview is accessed and the set of columns that are available, but not displayed by default.

The administrator can specify the following default settings for the Dataview:

  • Symbolic employee group (Hyperfind) or Organizational (location)
  • Time period
  • Available columns
  • Column sequence
  • Sort order
  • Grouping
  • Filters
  • Calculations

You can select one of the following Dataview types: Employee View, Business Structure View, Employee Time Series View, Business Structure Time Series View, to create a Dataview.

Note: If you are creating a Dataview for Gaming data, the Gaming Entities available for Dataviews feature switch must be enabled.
