Transfer a File to the Target Tenant

You can select a configuration file to transfer to the Target tenant. Available configuration types are loaded into SDM Setup Data Manager moves and manages configuration data across software and hardware environments., based upon what is available in the logged-in tenant.

1. Log into your Target tenant. In SDM, your logged in tenant is the default Target.
2. From the Source box, clicktap the down arrow and clicktap Select a File. The directory opens where the configuration file is located.
3. Select the configuration file and clicktap Open.
4. In the Source column, a message states: Source: Import from <filename>.zip.
5. ClickTap Review and Publish. The Publish Summary panel slides out from the right.
6. Review the Publish Summary panel.It lists the items that were extracted from the migration file. If you approve clicktap Publish with Comment or just Publish.
7. ClickTap Go to Publish History at the bottom of the panel to view the status of the data transfer.The Publish History page contains a table that lists the items you have published. If there were errors during the transfer, the button under the Errors column for that row is black.
8. To view details, clicktap the appropriate row and clicktap View Selected.
9. On the History for publish run page, clicktapShow all to view the setup data that you published, and the errors that occurred, if any, listed by item type and name.
