Version compatibility messages
If you are transferring items between version 7 and version 8, you may see the following messages:

You will not see errors in the error log as a result of the following scenarios.

If you log into a V8 tenant (the target) and it contains new setup items, but your selected source is V7, then the new setup items from V8 will be filtered out from the source tree on the left.. This is normal behavior. For a list of new setup items, seeNew Setup Items in Version 8.x
How setup items are filtered according to the logged in tenant

If you are logged into a 0.8.00 target tenant, and choose a 0.8.00 source, the source and target show all setup items

If you are logged into a 0.7.00 target tenant, and you choose a 0.8.00 or later source, the 0.8.00 setup items are filtered out.

If you are logged into a 0.8.00 target tenant, and select an 0.8.00 source to export to a 0.7.00 file, the 0.8.00 setup items are filtered out.
